Vancouver-based Panoramic Roasting Company is creating quite a buzz, thanks to owner and roaster Stephanie French. Her love and unwavering dedication to brewing the perfect cup of joe went much further than most coffee enthusiasts (including myself) would ever dream of, by starting her own high-quality small batch roasting business. The local creative's company champions sustainable, seasonal, organic, and fairly traded beans, and we're proud to now be stocking their coffee product on our shelves.

On Saturday, Stephanie put together a small cupping event in our store to introduce her coffee to our guests. Her setup is incredibly simple and well-executed, and while we didn't get to enjoy some of their lovely homemade pies, we did get a preview of what her drip-exclusive venture in Chinatown will resemble. We're impressed, and the delightful smiles on the faces of those with samples told the same story.
