Thank you to those who were able to join us over the past weekend. Kovic Prévost single handedly prepared a dinner inspired by our "backyard". A warm, comforting menu that celebrated what is available at the moment. Kovic was interested in cooking a meal that was locally sourced to illustrate that indeed, the humble squash can become a favourite (especially when bathed with whiskey-sage cream sauce!) and that eating what is in season isn't as difficult as it seems. Each course was thoughtfully paired with wines from our neighbour, Mark Simpson's
BC Wine Studio. We look forward to Kovic heading more dinners in the future. With both he and Pascal sharing roots in Québec, we thought it would be fitting that the next event be Home Brew Beer and Poutine. Hope to see you there!
