The Autumn Wool Collection
We are well into our second week of fall, with summer still in our minds from the beautiful indian summer weather we have been having as of late. However, that tell-tale autumn chill is in the air, and in timely fashion, we have released the autumn wool collection over at L'Atelier St. George.
We shot the lookbook out in Point Roberts a few weekends ago, and we could not have asked for better light (or a better model: our very own Anne Vivier-Manceau) to truly capture the essence of this collection.

An Evening of Oysters, Wine, and Grilled Sausages
Le Marché St George is hosting an evening of oysters, wine, and sausages to raise funds for the Little Mountain Playground.
All proceeds go towards building an inclusive playground for all the neighbourhood kids to enjoy. This will be an evening of beautiful food, mixed with community spirit, the perfect combination!
Click on the poster above for tickets.
Hope to see all of your lovely faces there!

Our first weekend in Campesino
The team has worked long and hard for months to bring our version of Campesino to Vancouver, and the fruits of that labour were most certainly reaped with the overwhelming positive response and turnout from our first weekend!
The first day left the pop-up looking a little barren, but rest assured the pop-up will continue to evolve over the course of its two-week run as we bring in more edibles, clothing, jewelry, and ceramics, so make sure to check back often. New stock will be updated at our online shop as well, for those of us who cannot make it to Vancouver for our annual summer pop-up.
Below are some of the photos I took the day before the pop-up opened to the public. I was unable to take photographs on the first day of the pop-up due to an incredibly packed house; it was madness! But it's a good kind of mad; lots of positive energy and vibes, sunshine, and friendly faces both familiar and new.
Thank you to all of those who came to support us this first weekend and we hope to see you throughout this pop-up's entire run and beyond!

Tomorrow, Campesino!
One more sleep until our annual summer pop-up! We have been working tirelessly to transform the space into our version of Campesino. Neutral tones, simple lines, found objects with decades of history melding with the new, bowls and plates with pitted textures, burnished metal surfaces, clean and crisp whites, wrinkled sheets, the scents of spring... these are what make the sensory experience of this year's summer pop-up.
Campesino will be up every single day from tomorrow (the 25th) and until the 10th of May, from 10 am to 5 pm. For those who cannot shop our Campesino pop-up in person, we will be offering this same experience on our online shop. Perhaps one of the few good things about the virtual world is that you can shop anywhere, anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We hope to see you all tomorrow!
With love,
your friends at Le Marché St. George

sneak peek | Campesino Summer Pop Up Shop
We are excited to announce the opening of this year's Summer Pop Up Shop. This year's Campesino is inspired by forgotten haciendas, the whirring of overhead fans, striped linens, the stillness of hot, hot days and simple, uncomplicated style.
In addition to the deconstructed beauty of Mandula's designs, we have brought in Ichi 2010 from Japan. This is their first time showing outside of Japan and I am not sure which one of us is more excited about this! Their one-size, airy linens are perfect for easy dressing. CP Shades will also be here with a line of bright white linen tunics and some hot pinks.
I have been in the studio a lot and I have so much new work. Most of the pieces are designed for family style dinners, to be enjoyed alfresco, of course. As well as the whites, greys, and blacks that are my favourite, there are some exciting new metallics (reminiscent of the tarnished cathedrals of Oaxaca), as well as some soft greys and nude glazes.
I've also brought in some lovely, wonky, green glassware from my trip to San Miguel de Allende. Also in store: large hand-loomed cotton bedspreads, turkish towels, handmade leather bags from Vancouver's Glasnost, new felted pieces from Greybelle Designs, House of Hudson jewellery and some stunning photos from Klee Hannah Larsen's visit to the hacienda, which, incidentally, inspired this year's theme. Vancouver's Woodlot will also be launching some brand new products in addition to their beloved candles.
With the opening of the Summer Shop, the online shop will also be updated with all the new products; this way, you can still come to the Pop Up even if you don't live here!
The Pop Up is open Saturday April 25 to Sunday May 10, from 10 am -5 pm daily.

Spring has sprung, and with it, a long-overdue new look for us.
We are currently undergoing a bit of a transformation and transition from our old platform into this new website, so please excuse the rough edges while we sort out the kinks of this new interface. We have lots in store for the future, so hang in there while we make this new platform into our new digital home for years to come. In the meantime, visit our new online shop and take a look at what we have in our digital store.
See you around the neighbourhood!
Sincerely,
your friends at Le Marché St. George.
